PerpeTualFlux says: Welcome to Sharpmail, a mailing service that lets you send anonymous emails or SMSs to people. I especially like using it for pranks. =D More than half the spam I get is already coming from people with fake return addresses. Just another tool for cyber criminals. Question is doesn't the sender's originating IP address still show up in the headers? i don't think so, but at the bottom of the email, it tells you it's from Sharpmail, and if your receiver clicks on it, takes them to the Sharpmail website, and then they know, this feature is only turned off if you switch into premium or something, which cost money. Quote: "http://www.sharpmail.co.uk - "Live in your world, email in ours" Send 'fake' email for free! Remove this footer by upgrading. " Well I think I will add this company to my natural filters so I don't get anything from them, be it prank, advice, or spam pure creepy stalkingness. I know that is probably not a word recognized but it seemed to fit. It's bad enough people with temporary addresses are full in force. I'll check the news a year from now and see just how much they have aided and abetted spammers. and if they take money for doing so they are full accomplice. I cant think of one instance where this would be handy for me. Looks like l"awsuits waiting to happen." |
