bignosemousie says: I love writing thank you notes. I write a lot of them. I really like the idea of writing thank you notes for things that aren't material gifts. I have written my parents thank you notes for different aspects of my upbringing that I very much appreciate as an adult. I recommend that if you can. Do it today. Write a thank you note to someone. Don't you like getting thank you notes? Ah, You have found that true gratitude BNM means not only noticing and appreciating, but acknowledging. my daughter at the age of 9 wrote myself and her dad a thank-you note ,for helping her with homework, making her tea, loving her, shes 30 now but i still have the letter,AWW i have a tear in my eye Exactly, Wiganfootie! 21 years later and that thank you note is still working its magic on you. That's so sweet Sue I would love to do that but I know me. I can be forgetful with the "simple" things in life. |
