Hmmm, though I'm sure this is true, I wonder how many of the tigers in the zoo's are actually from this. I have seen a lot of these tigers and never seen anything wrong with them at all. I'm sure they don't put the bad ones out for people to see but you can't tell me they are going to hide the ones with minor problems... In any case, it's pretty damn sad what people will do to make an extra buck!

OK, I did some more research, and I can't find anything that says this isn't completely true. I guess all white tigers in the US have imbreeding at some point in there family tree even if they are not direct offspring of imbreeding... Wikipedia seems to have a great un-biased explanation of it all... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_tiger
