This is sickening. Sadly, because of his athletic ability, Michael Vick is a hero to many. But the more time passes, the more it seems clear that he is a complete lowlife jerk. I hope he gets severely punished if he, in fact, was involved with this horrible treatment of dogs.

As much as I want to idolize Vick, he keeps letting me down. I think it important to teach kids that it's okay to idolize someone for their athletic prowess so long as that's all you're idolizing them for. Just because you're good at a sport doesn't mean you should idolize someone for their moral standing...
