How they will get 230 MPG later next year if now they cannot reach a figure 10 times less? They must have smtin in their sleeve..

If it's true and not next in a long row BS, who would choose to pay $50 per tank if he can pay 10 and no strings attached?

Isn't it odd though, how GM, who were instrumental in killing the EV1, and just one month after their bankruptcy, *suddenly* come up with the Volt? Kinda makes me wonder if they didn't have this "new" car designed already ten years ago, but just chose to keep it under wraps so the oil cartels and GM could pump people for as much money as possible before being forced to go electric. Just wonderiin'.... .

Nice movie, TN! Thanks. I clipped something more about it before also. We getting electric car back. Finally. I see it as another sign of our revolution, return to common sense. Do you remember the noises about hydrogen and fuel cell batteries few years ago? Where are they now?

In my opinion, hydrogen cars were never a viable option. Hydrogen is quite an energy-expensive fuel to make and for the industry to even get off the ground, you would have to have at least 15 -20 000 filling station across the US set up BEFORE people would even begin to think about investing in a hydrogen car. Not to mention that no storage system for hydrogen could be built big enough to cover the mileage drivers today require on a single filling. Electrics can be charged at home or at any outlet and you can get the electricity from renewable resources. The battery systems are also so good today, you'd get both the speed, the mileage, the cost effectiveness, ease of use AND keep it ...

C-mon, TN, I can look up at you only from the ground.
I think, that was distracting trick of oil circles and their puppet - project of building thousands recharging stations with tanks and pipes. But there is so simple and exciting option to get hydrogen from tap water. Or even creek. It looks rather promising.

Aww, you're way too kind, but as always, you're the perfect gentleman, AK. .

Yes, I had forgotten all about the use of electrolysis to create energy from water! Now THAT would be something, eh? Here's another short video about this issue and if you notice, the video is more than 3 years old!

Now WHY haven't we seen more to this technology, especially now that it is obvious and critical, that we come up with new solutions to our dependence on energy? Well, again the conspiracy theorist in me reckons, that this technology is purposely being squelched, for the simple fact, that the oil barons would not be able to make a profit on, or monopolize ...

Even if we are conspirologists, it doesn't mean nothing happen around...

But, well, you are still teasing me, my shinning star? Or, maybe, it's time already to use sunglasses?
