well, that's unbelievable! At the same time those animals vanished from Europe and Asia too, when the last ice-age was at it's end, and in Europe are no signs for such a cosmic event at this time. And other animals, like horses, lived after this time in North-America, before they died out. And why shall a meteor kill just those animals, who were perfect for the ice-age, and not the others too? The these of the big flood over wide parts of north-america is much more imaginable and well-grounded. A meteor may hit there - but it's impossible, that it could kill special animals in the whole world! (excuse my bad grammar please!)
