This would seem to me as being close to the real situation. 45% of Americans believe the world to be less than ten thousand years old; and most other Americans see church as part of their social calendar/expectations or use church to escape the realities of life eg poverty,
Thus you have your statistics explained! LOL
Atheists are good at lots of things because they follow their own ideas.
