This is nothing new. They don't want a "state", they want the Israelis destroyed and obliterated from the Earth. Why can't people see this and why do we keep having articles trying to explain it?

Ah, could somebody tell me what right "The Decider" has to offer any people anywhere "a state"? He sure can't go giving away one of ours, the only place he has any real legal authority, as unfortunate as that authority may be.

The Palestinians must understand this, and their "refusal" is simply them being realistic and not wanting to be party to an illegal contract, for lack of a better description.

In 1903 the kind British 'offered' Zionists a state in east Africa, and they refused. That nice Mr Hitler offered one in Madagascar, and they again refused.
@jmjoness: not everyone has supported a Palestinian state; among those who do not are people of Palestinian and Jewish origin who want to see a single state unpolluted by religious and other ideologies.

Oh, and if the Zionist regime were rejected, do you honestly think a secular government would be set up in it's place?? It has nothing to do with religous ideologies, it has to do with Hamas and other organizations denying Israel's right to exist, and Israeli brutality in response. The only reason they don't have separate states already is because of Hamas in the Gaza strip and the fuss over Jerusalem. Either way, religion will always separate the Jews and the Palestinians.
