When data are unexpected, they reveal flaws in the models being used by scientists. The models touted by Al Gore, the investor betting big bucks on carbon regulation and trading, don't begin to capture the complexity of global climate.

The only problem is that they no longer contend that the earth is warming.

They moved from a uniderectional hypothesis to a nondirectional one - "Climate Change". Even if long term temperatures go down as dramatically predicted in the 1970's they can claim victory.

Whatever the problem, a new tax system to relieve citizens of more money will surely solve it.
