n2teaching says: This is fantastic news, since lung cancer is a more severe type of cancer. I not sure I understand cancer, cancer cells are a form of life right. They live and grow. If theres one thing I know its that living things want to live, through evaluation, adaptation, and procreation but cancer mutates and decays the one thing that gives it life, the host until its death which in return would kill the cancer, So cancer is all ready on a suicide mission which defies the definition of life doesn't it? Anyway this is a good clip and great news. Cancer cells are our own cells gone wrong. Normally as our cells reproduce they may mutate. These mutated cancer cells override our own normal signalling system. Normally, cell mutation interferes with cellular interactions negatively, and the signalling system causes the cell to die. This happens all throughout our lifetime, but cancer cells are our own cells where the kill switch was disconnected through chemical interactions. The mutated cancerous cells pass their cancerous mutation on to the next generation of cells. When there are enough cancerous cells they interfere with correct organ function which can kill us. Thanks for being n2teaching me. |
