In an onslaught of vicious imbalanced attacks by swarms of Democrat lawyers angrily crawling all over Alaska with the sole intent of tearing her down when the same people have put the same energy into shielding Obama and ignoring his far more serious character defects,-----I'D SAY SHE'S HOLDING UP PRETTY DAMN WELL.

To put it a bit less hatefully, with a bit more balance, yeah, I'd say she does need to start focusing on substance over facade. It's a bit hard when every encounter is suspicious as to it's intent.
It is also sad that we have a public that is so easily fooled by a smoooooth facade of B.S.
The line between her and B.O. is hair thin.

We are providing the vetting of Pit Bull Palin that John McBush never provided.

She has absolutely zero foreign policy experience and makes bullshit up instead of telling the truth.

We expect better from our children.

"Gov. Palin was asked whether she had met any heads of state, she ays many VPs never met a head of state before they took office. Not true. Here's a small list of VPs that did: Cheney, Gore, Quayle, H.W. Bush, Mondale."

If you are going to make accusations it is up to YOU to prove the accusation. Please give us a list of every Vice President, and foreign heads of state they had met personally before becoming VP. Or shut up.

Bilge, the failure of your assumption is that all the Sarah backlash comes from those who believe in Obama. I'm not that guy, but I see so many problems with her in the office that I offer every shot I can find, and that's a lot of shots. I don't rail against Obama because there isn't enough time in the day. McSame is a dangerous clown while Sarah is his incompetent stooge (Bush & Cheney) have that reversed). While I don't believe Obama will be our shining savior as a nation as some do, I do believe McSame & Barbie could very well be our final ushers to the end of the great experiment.

The proof is in the link. But I'll provide the info here:

The current Vice President Dick Cheney is a former Secretary of Defense and met foreign leaders in that capacity.

Former Vice President Al Gore was a member of the Senate Armed Forces Committee and went on many congressional trips abroad, known as CODELS, where he met foreign leaders.

Former Vice President Dan Quayle was also a member the Senate Armed Committee and went on many CODELS.

Former President George H.W. Bush was the Ambassador to China before he became a vice president and eventually president.

Walter Mondale, who became vice president in 1977 under President Jimmy Carter, was a senator for 16 years before b...

@Strider

Well I did get it wrong. I was listening to the news this morning while getting ready and though I heard 32 Vice Presidents had met foreign dignitaries.

Obvioiusly what was said was "Pit Bull Palin would be the first VP in 32 years to have never met a foreign leader".

In these modern times of global interconnectedness, rapid communications and events, and interlinked crises this is unacceptable.

I believe her reply was that she would be able to see Russia from an Alaskan Island. Might as well look at a picture on Google image search. What a friggin joke.

I know this is an old clip, but it's worth responding further -- ABC News lied. They edited the tape.

When asked if she had met any foreign leaders, Palin responded "YES", and went on to describe such meetings. Then interviewer Gibson aksed her a followup question -- basically narrowed the focus quite a bit -- had she met such-and-such particular types of foreign leaders, and she then gave the answer you see.

ABC edited out her entire answer ***and an entire new question*** to show a question followed by her response to a ***different question***.

From the transcript at ABC's website:

GIBSON: Have you ever met a foreign head of state?

PALIN: There in the state of Alaska, our internati...

When people wonder if a candidate for high office has meet foreign leaders they are not wondering if you have met trade delegates, they are wondering if you have met heads of state. Huge difference.

Sarah Palin is woefully unprepared to be one 72 year old heart beat away from the presidency.
