But I think, as implied by others, that these labels never served us well and do even more dis-service now.

Parts of my ideas, actions and life some people would probably readily label as "liberal." -- Yet some of my ideas, actiions and life some people would see as 'conservative."

These terms are meaningless to me: maybe 'humanitarian vs. 'authoritarians' would fit better -- but this might not work because anytime someone implies I'm a 'bleeding heart,' I want to take out my gun and shoot them.

Perhaps there would be a difficulty with any abstract, metaphysical or philosophical categories.

There was a guy on TV, though, just yesterday, and he was also objecting to the labels, who's main purpose seemed to be in making it easier to kick people around.

He said the real distinction was: Rich vs. Poor.

or, you might say, The SuperRich vs. the Middle Class.

I think there is significant truth in that.

He name wasn't Karl Marx, BTW, it was of of our unique cultural icons: Shack the Sheriff - Shaquille O'Neil.

With his basketball career over or in it's last days it's seemed he's developing other interests, like Law Enforcement... and Politics.

He challenged the labels we use...and said the poor are really suffering.
