as a child i hated maths cause unfortunately no teacher cared to make us care, to point out to us its ipmportance related to the above.....i remember when i asked why mathematics are useful,the teacher replied frowned&annoyed that it would help us calculate the prices of the products working in a grocery store.(!!!)"but i don't wanna work in a grocery store."the teacher looked at me so strictly,that this was the end of discussion.since then i hated mathematics.but now that i can understand its true meaning which is almost mystical,i regret not paying enough attention..nevertheless i can still be carried away with the perfection nature reflects through its pure symmetry,even though i am stil...

rainsong111, My experiences with math have been much the same as yours. But the one thing I got from it was a sense of order in the universe.
