Doesn't seem as though they really checked it out in any depth. As different as myspace and facebook might be from Clipmarks, in terms of popularity, they're not bad sites to be compared to... I agree with GD, they could have 'experianced' ClipMarks for awhile before trying to asess it. If they actually used it they would have given it a higher rating and better write up. Looks like a passing phrase There is another way to do almost everything these programs can do If it's just about popularity, a Britney Spears comparison would have worked. Yes, not a bright and detailed review as we all desired, but it's a beginning after all. Being mentioned on NYT is undoubtedly a prestigious thing, so congratulations guys! Day Clipper: Inspired from an old Beatle song, this title is being used for members, only clipping between sunrise and sunset. (Using office computers.) Clippery When Wet: Used for some certain web pages and stories, that can only make sense to clip if a humorous touch could be added to spice up the material and make it digestible. Clipstick: Some extra make-up, added to the clip's initial remarks by the clipper, like external links, quotes and referrals to other similar clips. (BBCodeXtra is a useful FF extension that assists Clipsticks.) Read My Clips: 1. An idiom, suggesting to check first if the subject has already been clipped by another member. 2. "Add me to your followed clippers list." 3. Occasionaly used to mean "If you want to know me, just check the material I've posted so far." Cliposuction: 1. Shortening the initial remarks or reducing the tags by editing the clip. 2. When clipping, using only brief, necessary elements on the page and not the whole article. 3. (For administration - very rare usage) Removing clips from the site, that have aggressive, offensive, inappropriate and explicit material in it.
