People who think they HAVE to live in stick-built homes to have a quality living experience in a quality structure are ignorant snobs.

I've seen this solution on the Science Channel. Housing is built faster and cheaper off site. Cities have to be re-thought. Cities need to go up not out. Roads for cars take up too much valuable real estate.

zoning laws, land-use restrictions, open-space requirements. All things that are for a) driving up prices and b) keeping out riff-raff who want to live in affordable housing.
