Best money ever spent, or lost. It is a labor of love. Another way I look at it is, this is a person who through at least 17 to 18 years of your life, took care of you. They fed you, changed your diapers, taught you to walk, talk, ride a bike, everything. Cried when you hurt, cheered when your team won, were there for all of your victories and defeats. The least you can do is give some back in whatever amount of time they have left on this planet.

I'd like to see a clip of how some adult children abuse their parents (e.g. they think of them as automatic babysitters). Then do a side by side comparison of what as a child a person has gained from their parents; and realize that the financial burden is small compared to what a parent shells out (and I don't mean simply money) in the course of their life time for their children. Yeah it may be financially hard but like sahara said well worth
