It's been disappointing seeing this historic moment in baseball history turned into an uncomfortable situation for all involved. If the roids weren't bad enough, this just makes me even less interested in supporting him.

Very interesting. i really don't understand why those elbow pads are allowed to be worn. Part of baseball...perhaps the most challenging part, is dealing with the fear of getting hit by a pitch. By wearing so much protective gear, today's hitters are able to play without one of the most important challenges of hitting a baseball. To think that it also serves to aide his swing, that's just totally wrong!

I was raised on baseball; I recall how my Dad used to bitch about the Dodgers leaving Brooklyn - so we became Met fanatics. I can still remember most of the 1969 Mets, their uniform numbers & positions We went to at least 6 or 7 games a year, and I learned how to keep a scorecard.
Now it's just business - there is no "team" just players bouncing from team to team. It's really hard to follow. They made such a fuss over spit balls & pine tar & shoe polish --but a "mechanical arm" barely gets a blink.
Sad.
