In Quebec Canada there is the magnificant hotel Frontenac (Quebec City). It's over 400 years old. In fact I think I read somewhere it's the oldest walled fortress in North America. I've only seen it from across the river ( it's high up on the bluffs) but it is really spectacular to see; especially at night.
