Condo owner decides to destroy a beehive with hairspray and a lighter. What could possibly go wrong?

We don't need to be killing the bees of like that. We seem to be doing that without trying. Why didn't they ask for advice?

Very good question. We too often tend to see nature as an obstacle that must be overcome.

In this case, bees are already suffering from something that is killing them off. Without bees our food crops would die off leaving us starving. But of course someone like Monsanto will come up with an artificial means of growing our foods and then we would all be eating genetically modified foods without any choice whatsoever.
