Cool that these are copyright free so they can be printed, sold, and posted freely. Agreed. It's good when humor is accessible like this. Do you actually have a comment, or do you just feel like being a noodge? Well I'm always interested in new things. Never heard of a noodge before. Come on, Big E, my comment is pretty clear. These things are humorous, in a tragic kind of way, and in their naïvete. I mean if one truly doesn't know what war is good for, how much history could they have read? Great song though. But like a lot of good songs, sometimes you have to just overlook the idiotic lyrics. Have fun with "noodge." It's been a source of great joy for me. Kind of like "nudnik" or "no-goodnik." ok, you made me look it up. Here, for the benefit of other non Prairie Home Companion types, it is from--ironically--Urban Dictionary: Noodge This is my mothers word, it means to be nosey, pushy and a general pain in the ass. It sometimes means having an attitude the size of montana on your shoulders and projecting that all over the place. Generally this is not a nice thing but can be used in a nice context. Oh he's being such a noodge! I fucking hate Prairie Home Companion, please don't associate me with that abomination. This is not the first time I've been surprised at what drives you to obscenities. It does sound like a Minnesota or Wisconsin word though, doesn't it? Nope. It's a Jew word. As a proud mischling ersten Grades*, I use it as often as possible. *Nazi racial term, roughly "first-degree half-breed." One Jewish parent. HItler was a noodge?! Who knew? Man, the stuff you learn at The Clip! I should have suspected you were comparing me to Hitler. Okay, now I'm baffled. Had there been a respite? I don't get where Hitler was a noodge nor where I compared you to Hitler. Ah well. I guess you're as thin-skinned as everyone else on the Internet. Me? Please. I'm just playing with you, Big E. Didn't you see the recent clip about Hitler being half Jewish? You got to try to keep up, Homey... Shit, you totally had me. And I am way behind. How does anyone keep up on this site? By the way, if you continue to be interested in the word "noodge," look it up on dictionary.com. It actually gives the Polish etymology. Oh, boy, now with the Polish jokes.... Brilliant! Thank you. |
