Wow, I had no idea until I heard an interview with him on NPR today. 36 holes, 6 days a week certainly beats the heck out of drinking constantly. I hit the driving range the other day for the first time in a long while -- I'm a long way from touching Cooper's handicap of 4. Apparently he shot a 71 in the opening round of the Phoenix Open.

Vincent has been golfing for years......difficult to picture, isn't it?

He's also a memebrr of MENSA- the Genius Society.
A very smart guy,actually. He fought off alcoholism and won. Alice and his radio show ROCK.

He did say that he pounds 10-12 Diet Cokes a day.

I think he does a lot of celeb pro ams and fundraisers to, giving back to society. Oh, and hey, "School's (still) Out...for...summer!"

What a cool tidbit of info. I always liked Cooper...in a Van Gogh sort of way...like a tortured artist...a misunderstood soul.

Should 'ave see some of the commercials he did promoting some golf Drivers. Shocked me silly the first time I saw one (think I was 14 or so). Still love his music even if I agree with what Winston Churchill said about golf.
