I foresee a wheelchair with extending legs for a perfect synthesis of speed and adaptability.

I like this idea very much. Although the walking chair in the picture is a bit big to move around easily and getting through doors might be impossible at this point, I think that in the future a more compact, flexible walking chair will give disabled people a lot more freedom of movement.
