first impressions - very good

2.1 had some icons that were difficult to see
2.2 seems to have improved those icons

I hear that many people are confused with Office 2007 new UI - maybe they will ditch MS all-together and try OpenOffice

OpenOffice seemed to be more elaborate than what I needed, so I decided to use AbiWord instead. I hate Adobe. So, I'm using Foxit Reader.

OpenOffice is horribly slow. I don't use it at all for that reason. I use Abiword, and Foxit Reader just like the dorine1722.

i'm also an ubuntu user, so i don't even have the option of using MS products. thank god.
