rsegoly says: Does anyone use Google calendar and enjoy it? I was waiting for long time and was quite excited when it was released (of course as beta), but I was waiting for additional features to follow, mainly good todo and sync with Outlook, and nothing. I used before Airsoft, which synchronized fine with Outlook, using client on PC, so I guess its not that complicated, but I do not see Google or any developers publishing such tools, and I do not see real new features released, so was it born too early, to kick the potential competitors? I'm also curious to hear some user feedback. I am using it now. I believe they are waiting until it is merged with Gmail and it is released as a proper email service (not beta). It will be awesome if they have sync capabilities... but now I have been converted to using the service online only. What is the benifit of using sync apart from being able to access data offline? I found it unusable. Waiting to hear otherwise before bothering with it again. No improvements yet... I like the iCal and rss feature for regular appointments... I use it on one of my websites. I am very disappointed that Google would release Google Calendar without providing the capability to synchronize it with Outlook. I set mine up and found it useless. I'll check it again when its fully functional. |
