Our western Culture is supposed to separate church from state thus intellectuals atheists often are shunned.Not all religious people are dumb ,many are smart enough to know that there's votes in in believers but best people are educated realist accepting evolution as a fact of life.
An economy beholding to arms manufacture production is misguided in a civilized world not saying space and complementary industries are unnecessary but ,energy food security water etc are of equal importance.But as Regan of all people said every generation has to appreciate their freedoms when under threat from sinister forces.However he put it?

I took issue with this charade myself, at times, but it was not easy to put a dent in it's facade and under the umbrella term of "coalition," a lot of extra evil was able to be done. So I'm glad to see that someone has put some time and energy into what sounds like a comprehensive challenge to the whole pretense.

The clip, btw, did not just say 'sacred democracy,' -- in a generic fashion -- but actually said: "sacred democracy and Constitution."

The 'sacred Constitution," as you know, describes a Republic and well as many significant individual rights and liberties that the state can not take away, such as: freedom or religion, freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, freedom to petition the government for redress of grievances...um, the right to vote, the right to not have unreasonable search and seizure / need for search warrents , habeas corpus, no quartering of troops in your house, (ha) etc.

The U.S. voters made a great change when they overwhelmingly turned out in strong support of Obama and trashed the neocon, warmongering fascist Republicans, big time, two elections in a row.

Obama's popularity is not at all time record highs - 72% - and his legislative accomplishments, money he's gotten for his projects, his Main St. priorities, his great alternative energy program, his clear command to stop torture and close Gitmo, following through on his promise to immediate order substantial withdrawals from Iraq (responsibly) and a profound shift in foreign policy towards Iran, Israel, Syria, Russia, China..already; it like someone opening the windows to let in fresh air rather that pumping the room full of neocon toxic fumes.

Tomorrow he changes the limits on stem cell research, overcoming narrow-minded false religious thinking.

Tell me how many times you have heard, "This is a democracy, majority rules."? Or how many times have you heard someone say "We aren't voting on this this isn't a democracy." These are just comments that people make without realizing what they are really saying but it does go to show that we have been bombarded with this terminology so much that it is now "assumed" that we are under a direct democracy. Go and ask 10 of your peers what kind of a government we live under and see how many answer Republic and how many answer Democracy. Then ask them to ...
