pkronfield says:
If Democrats had won the White House in 2004, the jihadists might have succeeded. The idiotic liberals are still for retreat in the face of victory.
The US decision to "stay the course" in the Iraq war, which was also widely mocked and criticized, served to thoroughly demoralize the jihadist movement.
Another example of why liberals are unfit to run this country, unless you want to run it into the ground.

"Hurray - Mission accomplished!" ... wait a moment, didn't I hear that before?

It's so true pk. And when the fruits of those victories begin to arrive there will probably be a Liberal puppet in the White House taking all the credit.

Replicator - what a great name. Replicating liberal propaganda and smearing. Bush's Mission Accomplished was never meant to mean the war was won. He was giving a well deserved tribute to the crew of an aircraft carrier that had been at battle stations for nearly 8 months in a war zone, conducting dangerous day and night combat missions during the invasion. Indeed for that ship and crew it was Mission Accomplished. Only vicious lunatic liberals would have twisted that gesture of gratitude against a wartime president.

Well it's good to hear that there's finally progress... I wonder if it will be permanent though? I wonder if the fighting will ever stop, even after we're gone.

So, we pick a fight we didn't have to fight, with an enemy that didn't attack us, failed to plan it well enough to prevent post-attack civil war, failed to provide the troops with the tools they needed to protect themselves (up-armored Humvees, etc.), went to war on bad intelligence and lies, saw 4092 of our unreplaceable kids killed and 20,000 wounded, killed a few hundred thousand Iraqi bystanders, got reduced oil shipments out of Iraq, and helped preserve Al Queda's recruiting efforts and this is a success?

Liberal loonies, indeed. You nuts are bragging about stopping the bleeding after you cut you own arm off with a pocket knife. Save us from such successes.

Oh, and Bush, like ...

It's amazing how once you liberals are programmed you all sound exactly alike. Like robots you spew the hate line spun by Soros and company. When we invaded Okinawa the Okinawans didn't attack us. We didn't plan campaigns like the Arnheim battle very well either. Our WWII troops had no body armor nor armored jeeps. A lot of the WWII campaigns had bad intel. Some BATTLES resulted in more lives lost than 6 years of Iraq. Oil shipped out of Iraq never made it to the U.S. at any time.

The fact is you liberals have no stomach for fighting, have no concept of what it takes to defend our liberties, don't have the strength for a protracted conflict or struggle, and don't possess the strat...

And where were you a supply clerk, Mr. Pkronfield?

I respect those who serve, which does not include Bush (AWOL), Cheney, the rest of the Chickenhawk brigade (Coulter, Limbaugh, Gingrich, ad nausem.)

This war was a mistake. Our leaders make mistakes. Comparing Bush to Lincoln is like comparing him say, Dan Quayle to Albert Einstein.

The right wing has made a career of spouting hate, under the guise of patriotism and religion. It is YOU and your ilk who are in need of independence from your media cheerleader and politicians.

My sentiment exactly... I'm just glad to hear there's progress now, maybe our troops can finally come home.

He has served his country for 8 years (not counting his National Guard service where he risked his life every time he strapped on one of those jets).
I still find it difficult to believe that people can't believe how badly Bush has screwed the Iraqi situation up. Anyone who still supports that maniac is an ignorant fool.

I'd vote for him if he could run for a 3rd term. I think history will show him to be one of our greatest presidents. He has many talents (and shortcomings). One of the talents he possesses that I greatly admire is he is able, with very little effort, to turn normal rational liberals (if there is such a thing) into complete raving lunatics overnight. I love to watch the transformation. For instance read some of the idiots on this clip rant on about a war we are winning, which will benefit the U.S., our citizens, Iraqis, the whole Middle East, and ultimately the Western world. Why would any rational man or woman want to reverse something like that? Only a liberal fool. Liberals should ...

Of course I'm right. That was the master plan for the war. The fact that Bush couldn't or wouldn't articulate it, makes no difference. The fact that Rumsfeld was unsuitable for the SecDef job is irrelevant. The brilliance of the plan was to establish our forces in the heart of the Middle East, suck in the enemy and turn it into a killing ground to annihilate them. This campaign will be a success in spite of everything the left and the mainstream media has done to undermine our efforts. History will show Bush was the one who had the courage, audacity, and stamina to pull it off. History will show how despicably traitorous the Liberals were. Liberals of this age will be reviled in history as cowards and traitors.

You and I are on the same page pk....about the war and the President. The Left has consistently ignored the UN resolutions and the oil-for-food scandal that robbed the world of millions, the evil murderings of Saddam & his sons (yet they want us to do something in Darfur and the Sudan), that the intell (globally) was faulty (??), etc...

I strongly believe that we (you & me) don't know a smidgen of what is actually going on in this dangerous world and the geo-political dynamics....but the Administration does have access to that information and act accordingly. AND hindsight is 20/20.

And frankly the Right has not cornered the market on hate-speech; if anything I see them as more civil. T...
