Yes he was born in Alberta and raised the province of British Columbia (west coast).

He lived and worked in the USA for many years. I believe he has duel citizenship, but don't quote me

Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research has raised $120 million.</p> <P>The Burnaby native was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 1991.
