His so called consensus refer to the IPCC, which is comprised of 2,000 or so government paid or funded scientists, whereas the opposition is growing and was over 34,000 scientists at the last count, but that I'm guessing is just an inconvenient truth.

There is a common misconception that people who know global warming is nothing more than a springboard for other agendas are in some way also against the planet or for big oil... this is simply not the case, even if our c02 has minimal if any impact compared to volcanoes, the oceans etc, there is still good cause for pursuing renewable energy as oil will not last forever and with current technology there isn't even a need too use it, which also as an added plus puts oil companies out of business.

The thing with solar,wind hydro etc is that anyone can own these have them on their houses allowing them to get off the grid, which is why they are being kept artificially expensive at the moment.
