it's odd to me how "they" keep taxing cigarettes. well not really odd. I understand it. Thats the one industry they can tax the hell out of and not catch a buncha crap about it. No one wants to stand behind smokers. "they deserve it!" Really though, if we're going to stand up against over taxation, it should be for everything, not just what the majority holds dear. When was the last time they taxed alcohol? It's been a loooong time. That's because there are more drinkers than smokers. Fine upstanding people drink alcohol. Those fine upstanding people would raise a stink if they over taxed alcohol.

They just raised it here in B.C.
