I was part of the generation that saw most of its inspirational figures assassinated, with little doubt among us that the government was, most likely, behind the whole thing. So. There is little that I would consider as impossible or too unethical for the "spook" culture of our government. Most of those "Top Secret" agencies' philosophy is "The end justifies the means". And those "Secret Squirrel" types just purely love the complex, underhanded and covert operations. They are quite powerful and unlikely to respond to public demands. Take my word for it, they do not respect the public or any governmental branch beyond their own company.

Red & Blue are two sides of the same coin.

The past administration used fear of terrorism to destroy our Constitution and "change" the country.

The present one will use racism, safety and health to do the same.

I fully expect that this swine flu debacle is another 9/11 in the making. There are around three different ways that this "pandemic" (which is not much more dangerous than the common cold) and the vaccines could cause massive social unrest and chaos.

Which will lead to more draconian response from Washington and further erosion of our basic Constitutional rights.
