Our anglophone friends will not understand a bit. To relieve this circumstance, I am going to give some hints:

Attacks of locusts are known in various forms. The good news is that locusts help our understanding of human obesity. Not only those who live on the bright side of Wall Street, believe that greed is God - pardon me: that "Greed Is Good". It's morally right, as you can see here and, last but not least, in Bochum, Germany, where politicians have accused the world's largest cell phone producer of behaving like 'locusts'.
