A mate of mine put me onto cuttlefish, first just to look at some stuff on youtube. After an hour or so, I really got into them, so much so that I have created my very first clipcast. From a simple wow at the images i went to cuttlefish biosemiotics, and now i have them as images of something floating deep down in the ocean of the collective unconscious, floating signifiers that interrogate the surface safety of our linguistic vessels of security. The sense of this keeps slipping away....
