Robert Spencer is a Paul Revere of this century. Anyone care to read about the truth of the Catholic church? (or any other Christian church for that matter?) Oh, always Cat! Having been horribly immersed in Catholicism for the first 18 years of my life, I'm well aware that it's as putrid as any other organised religion. This article should be called "The Lies about Islam". Good will allways have enemies. This is the way of things. The point I was trying to make was that ALL religions have skeletons in their closet, and this "article" was a blatant attack on one religion. The main purpose was to incite (imo) hate, doubt, anger, etc in Islam. Point out a religion with a clean history (of at least 1000 years) and I'll join it. (well, maybe not.. but at least I won't have anything bad to say about it...) hehe... err... During the time of the prophet Muhamed peace be upon him there was nothing bad that happened. Infact it was the opposite of bad that happened. After the prophet , some bad things did start to happen, and are still happening today. But this is the same story after every prophet. Look at what has happened after prophet Jesus peace be upon. Today they started claiming he was homosexual God forbid, and such like. Even preachers started to accept homosexuality etc, which goes completely against the teachings of all , or at least most, of the religions. Today only Islam is being attacked because it contains the Truth and the Light for the future. Hard though it maybe to beleive. Oh. My. Life. CLIPMARKS!!!!! For all your entertainment needs! Entertaining and educational I hope ! Ali, I take it you're completely and vehemently opposed to people like bin laden and his ilk and totally denounce terrorism. Is that an accurate assessment? The US has launched initiatory Terrorism on much of Humanity in this age. Bin Laden and others are retaliating for this Terrorism by launching retaliatory terrorism with the aim of stoping the initial initiatory terrorism. This is how I see it. Oh, I see. When & where in your view did the US launch this 'initiatory terrorism on much of humanity'? This is not an alien practice. The UK and US both did the same thing. The UK in Europe when they bombed Germany using Bomber Harris who bombed wide civilians areas in Dresden and elsewhere. The US did even worse in Japan where they exploded nuclear bombs on two big cities. I am definitly against Initiatory Terrorism. Why ? Becuause it is wrong and evil, and because it will result in retaliation that may kill more and more people. So the blame for the lives of the innocents who are killed in both cases lies on those that initiate the terrorism. Those who retaliate against the initiatory terrorism will be viewed as freedome fighters even though their means may not justify the ends. Thos... I refer you to what an american citizen has written about the many occasions of initiatory terrorism unleashed by the US on the rest of humanity. Noam Chomsky. Many of his books are available free on the internet. The main area of terrorism at present is aimed at the middle east. Mainly because of the strategic oil resouce that exists there. Attacks on Palestine by israel (supported by US) as well as attacks on civilians in Lebanon by US made weapons and cluster bombs. As well as killing of 1 million children in iraq due to sanctions. As well as the continueing iraq war, that had nothing to do with 911 or islamic militants, nor WMDs etc. There is so much terrorism that the US does unforutn... I hope this paints a clear picture for those who want to judge by whatRight that’s it! I am sick to the back [insert swear word] teeth of reading this sentence or something similar at the bottom of every one of your posts, Ali. You do little more than try to impose your views on everyone else with this infuriating insistence that yours is the only way, and if that isn't bad enough, you have to close every comment with some self-indulgent insult to us all about how wonderfully right you are and how painfully stupid and unable to think for ourselves the rest of us are. This is not what Clipmarks is about - we... To answer your initial question RecordSage, I am vehemently opposed to those that INITIATE Terrorism. And especially the LARGE SCALE terrorism that is perpetrated through State Terrorism. ie Thousands or Millions of Bombs Dropped from the air. Not to mention that nukes. anonymology , your comment is not in its right place man. Why do you think i am insulting all people on clippers. My comments are general and apply to people who are of a certain type , not people who are in clippers and certainly not specifically to americans. There are some very courageous americans eg noam chomsky who i repetedly quote. And also those that did the loosechange video. In Islam , the concept of nationality and nationalism doesnt exist. Islam encompasses all human beings and doesnt judge them on race, colour or nationality. It judges them only on how they think, and accepts those that do not believe in Islam as citizens similar to Muslims. That is why there still to this d... Another issue please anonymology. It is not wrong to say that you believe your view is right. I dont see anything wrong with it. And saying it certainly does not impose my view on anyone. Otherwise you would have changed views now. I am just saying what i believe to be true. As simple as that. No one has to agree and no one has even to listen. So how can one say that I am imposing my views? Let me know if you disagree with what i have said. I am willing to learn. thanks, ali Ali, you're a perfect example of why nobody with any common sense would consider your religion the 'religion of peace'. But for the last question of my non-scientific survey - where do you live (which country)? RS, please explain. Yes please explain RS. I didn't articulate well, what I meant to say was that your sentiments explain a lot of things on the face value, without the need for counterargument. As for my question, I'll rephrase it - which country do you live in, Ali? Is that plain enough for ya? Why do you ask RS? Are you CIA ? I still dont understand when you say , 'without the need for counter argument'. What does that mean? I am here posting my comments for the whole purpose of receiving counter argument. So please explain. PS: I am living in the Western world. Where there is a claim of free speech. No, Ali, if you've seen my profile, you should know that I'm KGB. But don't be afraid, we're not coming in black helicopters to get you. You got one thing right out of your speeches here - this IS a country with free speech, not just a claim, otherwise your comments would never be made public, which as you can see - they have been. As for counter argument - a couple of things, if you truly believe what you claim and like the muslims I see on TV in palestine etc. - it would be a waste of time - since you have a 'closed mind'. If you do happen to have some opening there - we can certainly debate until CM servers buckle under pressure. But that's later. Right now, in the great, free speec... Sorry RS I still dont understand what you are saying. Regards, ali Pop or no Pop is all what I care when it comes to discussing the motives of those who slander one religion or another. No hard feelings, but this is as far as I go here Its ok arifsali, people who do that , their hatred ends up rebounding on themselves without them being aware of it. Like they say, "what goes around comes around." Best regards, ali Actually arifsali, it's not so much against a religion as it is against the ones that hide behind it to do some very nasty things, as is the case with islam these days. As I stated earlier, I have zero problems with muslims who went to show their support to the Jewish families who lost their loved ones in the senseless shooting in Seattle a few months ago. I'm sure these women follow their religion, based on how they were described, and if so - obviously there are 2 faces of islam. I have zero problems with people like that or if their religion if it preaches what these ladies practice. But when you look at what was done on 9/11 and more currently, what's going on in Iraq, where people a... In the Quran ( as I suspect in other Books of God) Allah says that He makes redicule of those who do evil but they cannot see that they are being rediculed. He blinds them and makes the evil work they do rebound against them, a) In their punishment on judgement day, and b) through I believe, making those who have not awoken , to wake up and realise where evil really is and where good really is. So today, many people are realising who is lieing and are starting to ask why they are lieing. And are thus engaged in bringing on a new enlightened age that has yet to come. RS, insulting people is easy, but debating with them publicly , that is the challenge. Are you open to debate? I challenge you. ali Erm, I do believe that that is exactly what RS is doing - open your eyes and read what he's saying!! So what is the Garbage I have spewed then? Also does living in a Western society mean you are not allowed to critisize it? And if you do critisize it you are told to leave? Is this what freedom of speech means? So when I said there is a claim of free speech , this is exactly what i mean. As soon as it is used in a way that offends the society it tells them to leave the country. Even though all they have done is practiced free speech. Third, the issue of Despising the society. What i despise is evil wherever I see it. Whether in my society or in another society, i speak out against because this is part of my faith , or way of life (Enjoining good and forbidding evil). This is a fundamental... @Ali - ABSOLUTELY!!!! There is more to critisize in RS's comments , but lets go step by step. Ali_Muslim said:If I understand you correctly, you are saying that "Initiated Terrorism" is evil and wrong, but "Retaliatory Terrorism" is noble and good? Determining which side offended the other first or caused the "initial injury" is almost impossible. Not only is mis... So according to your logic, the Europeans should not have defended themselves against hitler and simply let him do whatever evil he wanted. Secondly the retaliation is there as a form of defense. Because its aim is to stop the war continueing. Like what the UK and presumably the US did in japan. Thirdly saying its not possible to determine who is the initiator is wrong, because it sends a signal to anyone wishing to intiate evil to initiate it and not worry about the consequences. As then he can just state what you stated and then he cant be to blame. Fourthly it is simle to determine who is the initiator. The one who started the aggression first. Its a time issue. Simple to identify. You're welcome to reply and comment. ali speak to u later arthur, time to go for a while. sorry wrong clip, ignor above Ali Muslim, You call Jesus a prophet. Islam as well calls Jesus a prophet. Is it normally the case that Prophets in Islam are liars. For Jesus to be a prohet, as Islam believes, he would have to be a liar. What else about Jesus' nature, his life, his example, and his mission contributes to the idea that he was a liar? You're a real wierdo Will i have to say. Do you follow any logic at all except to carry hate for the relgion of Islam? Strange. I truly hope that one day you will see the light. Meanwhile, continue your hate campaign. I was just asking a simple question. If asking a question about Islam makes me a weido so be it. It is a very good question in fact. One, I suspect, you do not have an Islamic apologetic for. During the time of the prophet Muhamed peace be upon him there was nothing bad that happened. So I guess all the villages he razed and peolple he killed deserved it? Did the Japanese deserve what they got? Did the Germans deserve what they got? They deserved to be defeated ! Ali Muslim, You call Jesus a prophet. Islam as well calls Jesus aAli Muslim, why did you change the subject? My question is serious. I would like to have a serious discussion about this. My provocation was not intended as mean-spirited. I know it came across that way. Ali, before we get heavy duty into various aspects of islam, tell me this - why is it that you, being a muslim, who seems to seriously dislike the West, in terms of what it stands for etc., why do you live in the West? Isn't that a little hypocritical? Doesn't it make more sense to live with like-minded individuals? Pop or no Pop is all what I care when it comes to discussing the motives of those who slander one religion or another. The height of your dishonesty !!! Is it normally the case that Prophets in Islam are liars. For Jesus to be a prohet, as Islam believes, he would have to be a liar. What on earth are you talking about here? Islam says prophets are liars? Just curious. If they claim Jesus is merely a prophet. They are saying Jesus is a liar. If they say Jesus is a prophet, but lied about who he was, how could he be a prophet? Both of these concepts seem to be inconsistent with who Jesus was. Just asking a provocative question for a conversation with Ali muslim. Oh ... you're saying that since Jesus claimed to be the Son of God, then the Muslim believe that he was "merely" a prophet (I assume you're thinking of the Arabic word nabi) means he lied about his Divine sonship. Is that it? If that's the gist of your question, then I think this is probably the standard answer, though Ali_Muslim should correct me. According to Islamic tradition, Jesus (Isa) never made the exceedingly arrogant, impious and blasphemous (they say) claim that he was God's son; that claim was a later accretion on the Injil (Ar. "gospel", fr. Gk. "euangelion"). Enbar you are right. In Islam God almighty, sent prophets and messengers (more than 25 thousand of them) to humanity to guide them back to the right way. God, does not have sons and nor would He send any to some creatures He created. This is from my understandings from the Quran. There are many versus about this issue. Google it and you should find them. Best regards, ali So, Ali Muslim If Jesus was not God, How do yu explain the resurrection? Is this also a figment of the Christian Mind... and how does this relate to the fact that Christ's nature and life does not lend credence to your claim. He was not a deciever. How could he be a prophet and deceiver? I don't get that logic, willhelm. If someone comes back from the dead, that means they are God? Is Lazarus God too? If Jesus was not God, How do yu explain the resurrection?According to Qur'an, Jesus never died on the cross, God made it look like he died. Now you interpret the resurrection however you want, spiritually or literally. The height of your dishonesty !!!If I ever bring out anti-christian website references for you to debate, then call me my dishonesty.....until then, check my clips to make sure if I ever have. Ref, just in case if anyone's wondering : 004.157 YUSUFALI: That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah";- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not: Enbar, clarity. I think your ideological mishaps are purposeful. 1st, Lazerus was not resurrected. Being brought back from an inanimate state is not resurrection. Resurrection is becoming wholley of God, without end and ditinguishbly separate from human. AliIslam...To say the resurrection did not happen, again discredits the claims of the person Islam says is a profit. This inconsistency cannot be answered or defended, making the Koran highly suspect. We could discus others, but this one example is enough. Also, denying resurrection suggests that the witnesses and apostles, were stupid for dying for a cause they knew to be a lie. Further the Quran was written 600 years after the ev... Whoa, willhelm, I think you're confused about what I said. I never said Jesus didn't claim to be God. I said according to Islamic tradition, Jesus never claimed to be God. Certainly in the Gospels, he either claims to be God or comes very close, depending on how you read the texts. The ideas you're attributing to me were actually just my attempt to restate your argument in a way that made more sense, at least to my feeble brain. As far as the difference between Christ's resurrection and Lazarus's return from the dead is concerned ... I don't think that distinction can be found in the Gospels. Can you explain? As far as the difference between Christ's resurrection and Lazarus's return from the dead is concerned ..Lazerus later died. if you are resurrected, you do not die. Huh? Whose definition is that? Is it in the Bible? Yes, resurrected state is actually in the Old Testament somewhere. I'll try find it and follow up my commet if I have time. The resurrected body is described by the Pharisees. Also, Paul somewhere describes Jesus' resurrected state. There are also several apologies that describe the resurrected state as distiguishible from the normal living state. Yeah, if you could dig that up, I'd be very curious to read it. It's totally new to me, and I've been studying this stuff a long time. If you mean "glorified," then that's something else, but that's in Paul and I don't suppose you expect that Muslims ought to take Paul as canonical. I was just speaking in terms to draw a distinction on the comment you made about resurrection. refer to comments. http://www.carm.org/ Here is a site that covers this issue. search... resurrection. It speak breify on this and provides scriptural references. Keep in mind if your interested in this issue, you should look into it deeper. I'm racking my brain to think of an apologist to refer you to on this. However, if you've studied this awhile it is very common, even obvious distiction. A resurrected body is a body in a state that does not die. Clearly Lazarus was not in a resurrected state. It would be more accurate to say he was in a ressucitated state.... Now look what you did, Enbar. I was trying to have a conversation with Ali Muslim. You veered off and Ali Muslim now appears to have A.D.D. *sarc* I will not debate, but some factual points: - Islam does embrace Christians, but also says that it is corrupt. In Islam, if you believe in god, you go to heaven. You burn for your sins first, but if you believe, you have salvation. Therefore, any believers in the god will be let in the heaven. This is controversial among some scholars though, interpretations might vary. -Bible was written after the events. Kor'an did not have events written by others, all the book is considered to be words of Allah delivered to Mohammed spanning over a long time. Mohammed had many people keeping track of the book both in their minds and in writing. Thus, Kor'an suggests that Bible was corrupted and t... |
