When I lived in Germany, I lived in a Catholic state. As students, we got 3 days at Pentecost. Well, I'm not a Catholic, or a Christian, but I took those days and went to Paris.

Thats fine I am not attacking Islam, but the real problem is thats Labor day,which was given us by the Carpenters Union .to acknowledge the hard work of those who labor in the USA.,as at that time there was a 10-15 work day was normal.This also started the 8 hr work day.

I have no problem at all if someone wants to be a lawful citizen of the USA.If one wants to join up with us (USA) then you need to BE of us,follow us ,not change things to suit yourself, and try to make it as the country you came from.

By the way, according to the union representative at the Shelbyville Tyson plant, they have worked the past 23 Labor Days.

Good I glad they did work if they had a good Union they got paid double time.
BTW they have now reversed this and now we have Labor day reinstated...Good!
