I'm a Selachophobic. Used to imagine one popping up through the bath plug hole and the fear was so strong I'd have to get out of the tub. Fortunately for me, the older I get, the saner I get.

I suffer from ligyrophobia. I don't even like my daughter to hold a balloon. I let her, but I do not like it.

What triggered your fear Mousie? Did a balloon blow up in your face as a child? I know mine was sparked off by watching Jaws at an impressionable age.

Michelle, I think it is that I don't like surprises (that are loud). It could happen at. any. moment! The suspense is awful.

I am scared of the police when I am doing nothing wrong, whats that called? I get physically shaky and stutter in their presence. Wait, I know. It was because they beat me at age 13 for possession of a bag of leaf... I really just realized thats why and I am 41. Soon I can hide my own easter eggs.
