That someone would openly say something like that. I also 100% agree with you about anti depressants. I think there are people who need them, for whom depression is a sickness. But I know from personal experience that doctors are willing, if not pushing, to give anybody who has had a bad couple of months, or very legitimate reasons to be blue (ie bad circumstances that would get anybody down), a prescription to antidepressants. I am Canadian, and now live in Germany.
