Stand up when a woman comes into the room! Hurray. My dad (born in 1916 and raised with old fashioned values by his grandparents) was the only man I ever knew that really made me feel like a valued woman. He was even proud that I was intelligent too. (Oh ... and guess what righthand and alanocu... he was a Texan! LOL) Chivalry doesn't carry inherent gender bias. I'd like to see more of it in our modern society.
