This is a great idea, I just hope it works. They really need to find a way to protect preteens & early teens though, they are really the most at risk. They often have "freedoms" that younger kids do not such as traveling to friends homes down the street, to & from school, some are even left home alone as early at 11 years old...

They also are often left alone at computers, etc.

Not sure how you educate kids at that age...
