Hurrah for Rosalind Franklin! She took the X-ray crystallography photograph that helped Watson, Crick, and Wilkins discover the structure of DNA.

I'm disappointed that Marie Curie was only #8 on the list, but then again, it's an online poll, so my entire worldview hasn't been shaken, or anything of the sort.
