The technological thriller Gattaca portrays an aerospace firm in a future where society analyzes each individuals DNA at birth. It now appears that the premises of this fictional movie isn’t all that far-fetched. In the film, Vincent Freeman, a character played by Ethan Hawke, was born with a congenital heart condition, which nullifies his chances of living his life’s ambition of space travel. Vincent is one of the planet’s last "natural" babies born into a genetically enhanced world, where life expectancy and disorders are ascertained at birth. rich people were contacting their genetic lab asking to have their
genomes sequenced that he figured he may as well start up a side
