Americans sorely need mayors and governors to take the lead in addressing the environment, as our federal government still has its fingers in its ears. Good for Bloomberg. Good for NYC. Bloomberg is ambitious in that respect and it's good that he caught on. Behind the curve, but moving in the right direction none the less. Whether or not the city will allow it is another. Moving wind turbine blades pose a safety risk, and is one reason why they are mostly found in remote, open areas. The other of course being sufficient, regular winds to turn them.
