Well technically ratifar, the elected leader is not Michael Steele, Steele is rather like DNC's Howard Dean,Now Tim Kane, the guy who is supposed to whip up support amongst the common masses.

The republicans haven't picked a leader for their party yet. None of them are really going to come out in opposition with Obama having such a high approval rating yet. They are waiting and letting these two nitwits sling mud at each other to keep the flames of fear and hatred hot. I think the "real" leaders are laying in wait for an opportune moment which may never come.
