Consider this ; maybe Bush never had any intention of "helping" Iraq... maybe the reason for the war is not what we have all been told... So, now for some reasoning thought : Iraq has two things of value ; oil and location. Other than that its completely worthless. What two countries compete for oil, and what country is most dependent on oil for its new growing economy? The US and China are competing for economic supremacy, and the invasion of both Iraq and Afghanistan put the US in direct control of the primary source of oil. It was never about WMD's or Iraqi freedom or even our oil prices. It is all about making sure the US is in control of China's expansion and gaining leverage over them....

The irony is that China funded this war by purchasing US bonds... which leads to another irony because Chinese ownership of US bonds is what led to their economic expansion in the first place. If Bush says its not as bad as it looks, then i dont think he's talking about what you think he is talking about.
