Yeah, like the war against the Nazis was the leading cause of Nazi atrocities.

You idiot liberals just don't get it. Warring against these Islamofascist animals - annihilating them - will cut short their terror.

The quicker we all get with it, and the sooner will kill them, the sooner we will return to another time of peace (until liberals entice more madmen to try our resolve, and conservative and other people of courage are forced to step in and clean up your mess)

And law enforcement is the leading cause of crime.....

Stop the occupation = stop the attacks.

This may not PROVE the causal relationship between the US's occupation of foreign lands and the rise in terrorism, but it sure proves that there's a heavy correlation.

Also, pkronfield, have you ever noticed that you neo-conservatives are the first to call someone an idiot when they have a different opinion than you. You don't need to put others down to be correct. That's usually a defensive tactic used by people who are no longer confident in their own beliefs.

PS. And, because I know you're thinking it, no, I'm not a liberal. I'm a libertarian. Viva la V.

Stop the occupation = stop the attacks? No... We were being attacked before the occupation. Would it lessen the attacks? Doubtful. Leaving Iraq unfinished would create a whole new breeding ground for terrorism. More terrorists = more attacks. Anything less than creating a friendly, stable government will be very dangerous for anybody in the western world.

readmore, the pamphlets at the carbonfest 2006 rally told us all about how America is the blame for everything. Send me your snailer and I'll shoot you out a copy.

I agree with pkronfield! Warring, annihilation and killing is the only way we are ever going to stop warring, annihilation and killing! Errr...wait a minute. Is there something wrong with that picture???

And 'neoconism' is the leading cause of stupidity!

Yes, and the US wasn't attacking (directly/indirectly) or fucking with anyone else country before that.. maybe you should read some history before you say something so obviously ignorant

Take a look at some of the worst dictators in the last 60+ years and you will see an American hand in putting them there... Saddam was backed by America.. so was Osama (well, the Taliban at least)... Lots of the evil dictators in South America were backed by America... the CIA admits it

I'd expect someone with your moniker (readmore) to actually have read something... and not just propaganda...

We never backed Saddam to get him into office. He got into office anyway. We simply played him against the other evil which we saw as greater at the time. I suppose in your purist view of the world we never should have teamed up with the USSR during WWII because they weren't very good guys? No one can tell the future and you just have to go with your best judgment at the time. We played the Iraqis against the Iranians who kidnapped our people. We teamed up with the Russians to beat Hitler and ended up with the Berlin Wall. We helped the Taliban fight off the Russians because they were the bigger threat at the time.

Sounds to me more like you are the one spouting propaganda.

After they bomb the base in Afghanistan while Cheney is there, on a "secret" visit no less, you'd think we could put to rest this idea that we are somehow "tying the enemy down" in Iraq.

Well, that's 3 for 3. You'd think maybe that's a sign it's time to try plan B? I.e. morality, ethics, values, all that stuff that the rightwingnuts blab about but don't seem to grasp?

Oh, no, gzuckier, they grasp them, they just have different definitions for them...

Annihilating... Yes. I remember this from somewhere. Wasn't it that short guy with a strange moustache, who said this for Jews? What was his name? Adolf?

As I say, if it truly were a war on terror they'd arrest the KKK.
