It is obvious to me that the strip's author understands the impact of a drawn comic on a multi-dimensional basis, and in his efforts to express himself in his art he exploits that, as opposed to his readers who see a drawn comic as a one-dimensional distraction and are riled by his exercise.

Art imitating reality. Everybody loves a survivor story, but the truth is this is cancer is deadly.
I lost an aunt to breast cancer and my little sister to brain cancer, she was 11 yrs old.
