If they "didn't violate the rules of service" why delete them? On the other hand it is a private club so they can accept or deny any group they please.

This deletion, due largely to complaints from people who find atheism offensive, marks the second time MySpace has cancelled the group since November 2007.
Religious tolerance, freedom of belief, it all boils down to the hypocrisies of those who claim freedom for themselves, but not for others.

A clear modern real-time example of why religion and state should always remain separate. Our founding fathers recognized the hypocrisy of religion even back then.

Hanging out at CM, it almost feels as if only atheists browse the web, so in that context, I believe, MySpace is a fool to make such a stupid decision, but then again, look at who owns it.

Good. It's about time someone stand up for God. If it were the Atheists having a Christian community deleted, no one would think a thing about it..

Another perfectly good real-time example. With a church on darn near every corner..."It's about time someone stand up for God?"

Amazing!

But let someone stand up for reason, and they feel threatened. Absolutely amazing!

Thanks for the update Alancou. I'm happy that the group has been "restored". Censorship is not a good thing, IMO.
