The Bible is a History Book. Not unlike the history books of today where not everything is exact, or "politically correct".

the bible contains some history but is by no means a history book. it's more folklore with a bit of historical context weaved in.

Those . . er, fools (for lack of a better word) should allow the book report. There are lessons to be learned, even in folklore.

If the book report was truly objective, I wouldn't really take issue with it. But we all know better than that.
