The one about nearsightedness (from an optometrist, not an ophthalmologist) certainly is wrong. And I'd like to see who did that Canadian study about ice on the webbing of the hand. Probably rubbing some random part of the body would have the same effect. Try it by telling the sufferer pinching the elbow or middle toe works and see what happens. And Dr. DeStefano is from a college of osteopathic medicine. She's not an M.D. Sticking my finger in my ear has a tendency to make me cough.
