Sorgalim says:
Supporters of the Florida law see it as a major step toward justice for deceived ex-husbands. Critics see it as a potential danger to the well-being of mothers and their vulnerable children.

That is wrong by every letter in my book. I feel little sympathy for the child; the divorce is disruptive to the child's life, not the loss of his money. I expect some earnest revisions to the law or at least a proposition for a case like this. They need to focus on finding the real father and don't force that man to continue to live and be burdened by this insulting point in his life (200,000 is a lot (regardless of what he makes a year) to pay for a double-back-handed insult).
I would simply refuse to pay and move to Middle America.

I think that when a kid knows a person like a father, he is the one who he will call father...Not the one that does not know...but is true that if a man trust a woman is not fair, for me, that he have to pay for something that is not true...in this case, a child...

OK, I agree; my initial reaction to the article actually slightly infuriated me (it just feels like I know so many guys who pay child support and the mother, not the child, relishes in that monthly check) but I personally would have no problem continuing to be in the child's life; however, being forced by the state to continue to be the financial pillar in 'their' life, is what is ultimately wrong to me; he should have his freewill in this case.

I agree with you in that...I THINK IS NOT FAIR for the man in this case to pay...Hope everything comes to an acceptable end...I understand you...You can find men and women like the one in this case, but is worst when you know them and understand what's going on...
