It's usually a people's barbaric traditions and archaic local customs (usually aimed at women and their rights as human beings) that are at fault ... not some political leader.

True, but the acts that happened and are happening in Iraq are definately having a toll on quality of life.

I recently was watching a PBS interview of Iraqi women, when one of them said something to effect of, "We had more rights and were treated better when Sadam was in power."

We changed their situation alright, toward fundamentalism. Of course, what would you expect from our fundamentalist president?

You can watch this second part of the documentary to see why. People who become refugees in their own country are dangerous at best. Who made them refugees? Some would say they themselves.
